What goes up….

I understand that gas prices need to rise with the cost of oil that only makes sense. But as oil prices drop to a new five month low, I wonder why I still encounter these prices at the pump.

  1. Um, unfortunately $3.699 isn’t such a bad pre-Ike price. $3.999 and $4.099 is a little higher than normal, but not quite approaching some of the obscene prices we scene during and after hurricane Ike.

    Don’t forget, a large part of pricing in these kind of situations is the panic and stupidity of consumers making a run on scarce commodities.
